Ms. Jungrim “Rim” Yea – Lead Montessori Teacher
Rim has been in the early childhood field for 10 years. She is EEC certified teacher for preschoolers and Master of Fine Arts (Painting and Drawing, LSU). She has studied Early Childhood Montessori teacher education AMS (American Montessori Society) at MI-NE (Montessori Institute New England) since July 2020 and is on track to finishing by June 2021. She has worked in the primary classroom in AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Montessori school for 5 years as co-teacher and 2 years as lead teacher. She was in charge of children painting and drawing for 4 years at YMCA and taught adult painting and drawing classes at Braintree High School for 3 years.
Rim lives in Weymouth with her husband. Her son graduated Computer Engineering at U Mass Amherst and has been working as a Software Engineer since then. She owns an art studio and enjoy painting and teaching art ranging from preschool to high school.
Ms. Emily Morf – Assistant Teacher
Emily graduated from Willamette University in 2020 and is starting her journey into early education at My Montessori. Emily attended Montessori programs as a young child and graduated from a Montessori high school. While in high school she worked as a child care provider for her school’s after school child care program.
From her personal experience within Montessori communities Emily developed an interest for the Montessori method and has joined the My Montessori team to continue to teach, learn and nurture within a Montessori space.
Emily lives in Arlington with her partner. She enjoys reading, going for walks and watching movies with friends.
Ms. Dongni “Nina” Zhao – Assistant Teacher
Nina is a teacher’s assistant at My Montessori. She earned her master degree in Linguistics in Hunan Normal University in China and worked as an English teacher at a middle school in China for 3 years. She began her Montessori teacher training at the Montessori Institute of New England in 2021.
Nina is a Montessori mom living in Woburn with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and playing with her two young sons.
Ms. Tori Browne – Assistant Teacher
Tori is an Assistant Teacher at My Montessori. She has always enjoyed working with kids. She has several years of experience as a nanny for young children. Tori is planning on continuing to further her education in the fall with a focus on childhood development. She lives in Billerica with her parents, two sisters, and her new puppy, Rocky. In her free time she enjoys working out, creating art, and spending time with friends and family!
